MyersCadAssist - Our primary work relates to Domestic projects and small commercial developments with a construction value < £100k. For larger Contracts we have an extensive network from which we can collaborate, so no job is too big or small.
MyersCadAssist primarily provides drawings for home owners wanting to carry out home improvements and require drawings to satisfy local authority approvals. We do this for all types of conversions, refurbishments, extensions, conservatories, attic conversions, internal alterations and new builds.
Our Standard service provides drawings for Planning & Building Warrant approvals only, taking you up to RIBA Stage E. Drawings produced under this Standard service are not construction drawings (this is reflected in our price) & Contracts don't include site supervision service. As we do have Professional Indemnity cover, we can offer a Premier service to include Tendering, Construction drawings, Site Supervision (but not Contract Administration) & Completion Certificate receipt if required for Contracts of up to £100,000. For Contracts above this value we can recommend a number of Architectural practices that we currently collaborate with.
In addition to the information for local authority approvals we can also provide 3D model images of your proposal. This will incur an additional costs.
All fees quoted allow for a certain degree of design development. However, if through the process you decide to make significant changes to the design that require the drawings to be updated there will be an additional fee for this.
We charge based on either an hourly rate or as a % of the estimated cost of works. We don't like to set fee's here without seeing you first as we feel each project can vary too much to give a generic price. We believe in being open and transparent about our fees so this will be discussed in detail at your consultation. For home improvements we ask our fees to be paid at the following stages:
1 - On issue of existing drawings.
2 - At planning application submission.
3 - At Building Warrant submission stage.
Should your project be of a larger scale we are in a position to collaborate with other professionals to meet the demands of the project. So, please call us to discuss. We carry out our service in a full-time environment and therefore have a quick turn around of projects should you be on tight deadlines.
In addition to our architectural fees you may also require fees for:
Planning & Building Warrant applications, Certificate of Lawfulness, OS map, digital land survey, Structural Engineer service, building costs (allow for VAT), SAP's, EPC's, printing & posting costs for additional drawings to the application pack & any other external consultancy required.
